Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maan-Dhan Yojana (PM-SYM)

Purpose: Old age protection for unorganized workers.

Eligibility:

Benefits:

  • Monthly assured pension of Rs. 3000 after age 60.
  • 50% of the contribution is made by the government.

National Pension Scheme for Traders and Self-employed Persons (NPS)

Purpose: Pension for traders and self-employed individuals.

Eligibility:

  • Indian citizens aged 18-40 years.
  • Annual turnover less than Rs. 1.5 crore.
  • Not covered by EPFO/ESIC/PM-SYM.

Benefits:

Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)
